Yachtmaster candidates aboard RYA Sailing Yacht Great Escape headed out of Gibraltar at 1300 today with the tide heading for Cadiz. After replenishing and taking a well earned break having arrived from Barcelona via the Balearics on Friday - the time passed all to quickly. Our GibraltarSailing School welcomed them in the time honoured fashion with a beer in The Ship.
Weather in the Med looks unsettled this week so between the crew and the Skipper they decided to make the most of an early exit into the Atlantic. They will be sailing for the next 10-14 days before returning to Gibraltar and milebuilding back to Barcelona.
