Hot Water Tank Challenges Fastrack Yachtmaster Crew Off Ibiza

It might well be like a mill pond off Ibiza tonight, but the crew of Great Escape were taken a tad by surprise when the engine compartment filled unexpectedly with boiling hot water! Clearly an internal issue, given the sea temperature outside. Motor sailing from Port Soller, Mallorca -  had heated enough water for a crew bath, but a hose at the tank connector gave way and discharged the contents into the engine bilge. Thankfully, some quick thinking and a degree of inginuity - with gaffer tape, have resolved the situation for now. Next stop Denia, mainland Spain!
